Over the river and through the woods...

Every month Halle's preschool has a field trip and this month they have been learning songs to sing for the "grandma's and grandpa's" at the nursing home in Lehi. Halle has been so excited and we have been practicing her songs every night. It is all she has talked about the last two weeks! We woke up this morning to the biggest snow storm so far this year and didn't know if we were going to be able to make it to Lehi. We as parents decided that the kids have worked so hard and the seniors at the nursing home have been excited for them to come so we would try and make it. We had a long caravan of vehicles going 5 mph and the drive that would have normally taken us 10 min. took about 40. We ended up making it ok and it was well worth the trip. Halle was really excited to give her candy cane away while they sang "We wish you a Merry Christmas". She ended getting 2 more to take home! The smile on her face says enough about the experience.
