So everyone should know by now that Patrick is a BIG Oregon State fan....Go Beavers! He has (we have) never been to a bowl game before and we were hoping and planning this year to go to the Rose Bowl if the Beavers would have been playing. Well, things didn't quite work out like we would have wanted them to since Oregon State ended up losing to Oregon and ended up at the Sun Bowl in Texas instead. So instead of going to nice, warm California in the midst of winter, we were able to go to Las Vegas to watch BYU vs. Arizona in the Las Vegas Bowl. Not the greatest game as most of you know but it was still fun to get away for a day and go to our first bowl game. Maybe next year Beavers!
