We have a yearly tradition for the holidays where we have a dinner party with some of our closest friends. This year was our turn to host and we were excited to be able to fit everyone comfortably in our new house! We had a fabulous potluck turkey dinner and I had a lot of fun decorating and playing hostess. Here are a few pictures from that night...

After dinner we exchanged gifts....we always say that we will not do gifts or at least do small family gifts but somehow it never ends up that way! Our friends are always so thoughtful and give us such meaningful gifts. We received a beautiful Willow Tree Nativity and the movie Mamma Mia.
We then put in a movie for the kids and got to have some "adult" time playing one of our new Christmas games, Scene It? Squabble. It is a battle of the sexes type game and it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately the guys ended up winning but we girls definitely suspected some cheating going on...don't worry we'll get them next time!
