VIP poster
Jalen turned 6 on September 19. She was the VIP during the week of September 15-19. She was very excited to be the VIP. She felt really special all week having her poster displayed and being the helper. Her favorite part of the week was having her mom, dad and little sisters come to school with her. We were able to read and donate one of her favorite books to the class, "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" by Laura Numeroff, very fitting since one of her favorite foods is pancakes! We also got to answer a lot of questions about Jalen from her classmates. It was fun, and a good opportunity for them to get to know her a little better. At the end of the day Jalen and her dad handed out cupcakes to the class and they sang Happy Birthday to her. It was a wonderful week and we wanted to say, "thank you" to Mrs. Wengreen and the rest of the class for making Jalen's 6th birthday so special.
