Take me out to the ball game!

As most of you know Patrick is the Head Baseball Coach at LHS. (Among the fifty-thousand other things he has going on) He has been the coach now for 3 years. Each year they have been in a different classification. From 3A his first year to 5A this year. This is due to the increasing number of students enrolled in school. It has been very hard for all of the athletic programs to adjust to the new classifications. This year, like always, we started the season with a trip to St. George for a weekend baseball tournament where we play teams from Las Vegas and Utah. We were excited to get out of Utah Valley and into some much needed warm weather for a couple of days, not the case, the sun teased us for about 2 hours on Saturday morning but other that that it was cold and windy the whole weekend. We still had a fun time and overall they did pretty good in the tournament. Hopefully we can carry that momentum through the rest of the season.
